An API is a process that provides secure access to various datasets to collect and store data for customised usage. Access to the API will allow Guardian clients to have added control over the access and retention of their data, and the ability to create customised reports and insights. Clients can also nominate a third party such as a Seeing Machines distributor or telematics provider to collect and store their data in their interface.
