Seeing Machines and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation announced a collaboration agreement late last year to support expansion of our leading driver and occupant monitoring system technology, by leveraging Mitsubishi’s global distribution network.

We are thrilled to extend on this, by naming Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA) as a referral partner to accelerate installations of our industry leading driver safety solution, Guardian Generation 3 across The Americas.

Collaboration Agreement with Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation

In December 2024, Seeing Machines announced a collaboration agreement with Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation. Underpinned by our aligned vision of enhanced safety across transport, it will facilitate joint Automotive business opportunities in Japan. The agreement also aims to:

• drive increased sales of Guardian Generation 3 in North America, Europe and Japan, leveraging Mitsubishi Electric Mobility’s significant Aftermarket distribution network and customer base. 
• leverage Seeing Machines’ proprietary intellectual property (IP) to assess and enter new adjacent markets where Mitsubishi Electric Mobility has a leadership position.

Alongside the collaboration, Mitsubishi also became a significant investor in Seeing Machines and now holds 19.9% of our stock. The subscription agreement raises gross proceeds of £26.2 (US$32.8) million to enhance the Group’s balance sheet and provide funding for further growth.

Referral Agreement with MEAA

With an enviable customer base and expertise across the commercial vehicles segment, MEAA will help to accelerate sales of Guardian Generation 3, the latest generation of our driver safety technology for commercial transport and logistics organisations.

This agreement will facilitate the joint pursuit of business where MEAA has existing commercial relationships across its transport and logistics segment in the region. With access to operators covering over 1,000,000 individual vehicles, the opportunity is significant and MEAA has already seen strong initial interest in the potential of Guardian Generation 3 to enhance safety across these fleets.
